Concrete plants within delivery range of your town are surfaced — same-day metro orders are common for early-morning bookings.

Standard N20 (20MPa) concrete typically ranges from $240-310 per cubic metre ex-GST in metro areas. N32 (32MPa, the most common spec for driveways and slabs) is usually $260-340 per m³. N40 and decorative grades (exposed aggregate, coloured, fibre-reinforced) cost more. Regional and remote pricing is higher due to plant proximity. MaterialSales lists each plant's live price ex-GST.

Domestic driveways and shed slabs typically use N20 or N25 (20-25MPa). House slabs, garage floors and footings often use N32 (32MPa). Industrial slabs, structural work and post-tensioned slabs go up to N40-N50. The engineer or builder will specify on plans — confirm with the concrete plant when ordering.

Pump mix is a ready-mix concrete with adjusted slump and aggregate sizing so it can be pumped through a line or boom pump without blocking. It's essential for high-rise, tilt-up, restricted-access pours and any job where the truck can't drive to the pour point. It costs slightly more than standard concrete. Order it from the same plant — they'll send the right mix.
